Lawn Care

Spot spray for wild onions.


Fertilize shade trees.

Fertilize spring bulbs.


Plant asparagus crowns.

Sow beets, carrots, peas, lettuce, mustard, radish, spinach,

potatoes, and turnips.

Plant pansies in your salad garden for color and to eat.

You can plant grape vines and fruit trees in the landscape

at this time.


You can divide daylilies, Shasta daisies and other perennial

at this time.


Prune grape vines, rose (by the 15th), ornamental grasses,

Remove weeds and unnecessary trees at this time.


Spray peach and nectarine trees with a fungicide to prevent

leaf curl.

Other Activities

Clean and fix old birdhouses and put up new ones.

Start preparing spring.
