**Following the Cotton Production Meeting, will be the Auxin Training for Cotton Growers and Soybean Growers. 1PM – 2:30PM. The training applies for both cotton and soybean growers who will be using the new dicamba or 2,4-D products such as XtendiMax, Engenia, or (Enlist Duo with registration still pending) on Enlist or Extend crops. In addition, per Dr. Alan York, NCSU Specialist “North Carolinas SLN label will state the following: The producer, certified applicator, or person responsible for the application of this product on cotton or soybeans, in-crop, must attend Auxin Herbicides – Best Management Practices training that is approved by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture. In other words, training is mandatory if one wants to use the new products.”**
