Description: This workshop is designed for those who wish to gain knowledge on how to safely can high acid and acidified foods such as fruit, jams, jellies, and pickles. Participants will learn the basic knowledge of boiling water canning and get hands on practice.

Description: This workshop is designed for anyone interested in learning more about safely canning food at home. This hands-on workshop will cover foods appropriate for pressure canning, equipment needs, and safe tested recipes.

We are accepting cash and check payments. Please make checks payable to Duplin County. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Extension Office located at 165 Agriculture Dr, Kenansville, NC 28439. Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
