An invitation is extended for all small farmers to attend an outreach meeting on October 4, 2023 from 1:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Powell-Melvin Service Center, 450 Smith Circle, in Elizabethtown, NC.
This outreach meeting will focus on USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Risk Management Agency (RMA), and the Office of Partnerships and Public Engagement (OPPE) programs.
You will also receive information about Cooperative Extension’s Small Farms programs and North Carolina Department of Agriculture programs. The meeting is designed to inform farmers and landowners of the various programs that will provide financial assistance for their farms and provide resource information for rural communities.
Registration deadline is October 3, 2023, by 5:00 p.m.
