At some point, you've probably heard the phrase, "A sharp knife is safer than a dull one." Do you know why? A sharp knife glides through food, and the user maintains control of the blade. Learning basic knife skills can increase your confidence, plus will help you move faster and safer in the kitchen.
Join our Family and Consumer Sciences team on Tuesday, February 27th at 5:30 pm for this workshop that will include safety tips, sharpening knives, and how to do various cuts. Then, we'll practice our knife skills together and make a few recipes.Cost: $15
